Your phone joins whichever partner network has the strongest signal — nothing to pick manually. A few plans use one network only; each plan page lists its exact networks. Data only: calls and texts stay on your home SIM.

About Japan eSIM

VoyaSIM's Japan eSIM connects to NTT DoCoMo or SoftBank (varies by plan), with 4G/LTE nationwide; 5G in Tokyo, Osaka, Nagoya, Sapporo, and Fukuoka. Coverage spans Honshu, Hokkaido, Kyushu, Shikoku, and Okinawa.

Good to know: Coverage on Shinkansen bullet train routes is excellent — the eSIM works while traveling at full speed. Convenience stores and stations offer free public WiFi as a backup.

How it works: Choose a plan above, complete checkout, and receive your QR code by email. On iPhone, go to Settings → Cellular → Add Cellular Plan and scan. On Android, go to Settings → Network & Internet → Mobile Network → Add Carrier.

Refund policy: A full refund is available if the eSIM has not been activated. For technical issues that prevent activation, contact [email protected].
